Her job scope encompasses fetching coffee for her boss, making copies at the printing machine and answering phone calls that are ringing off the hook. Luckily, her fellow interns indulge with her in workplace gossip, making her job much more juicy. Carrie hopes that her stint at the law firm will boost her chances of finally put that darned law degree to good use.  Carrie is probably the nosiest person you’ll ever meet. Most people find it annoying while some find it endearing. Whatever it is, Carrie always goes out of her way just to find out new things and uncover the latest gossip. She isn’t bitchy or anything - she is just extremely curious.  Carrie’s parents were high school dropouts who worked at a small pub. During the weekends, when they were unable to look after her, they would bring her along to their workplace. While most patrons disapproved of the young girl being in such an environment, Carrie loved the atmosphere. With people, mostly drunkards, chattering away incessantly, Carrie was kept thoroughly entertained. Perhaps this is where her nosy nature was bred.  Life for Carrie was routine and mundane up until the Andersons moved from Harper’s Island to New York. Tales of the Wakefield murders truly fascinated Carrie and suddenly, her uneventful life was something she became thankful for. This didn’t mean she wasn’t intrigued by the stories though… She longed to visit the island so badly and now that Derek Anderson is getting married, she finally can! Carrie fully understands the grief and pain the murders caused and does not take them lightly. She has to be on her guard at all times while on the island, making sure her interest does not offend others. The Wakefield murders are still a sensitive issue to many and uttering the wrong words or asking the wrong questions could make some people very angry.  Relationships Carrie was Derek Anderson’s project group mate at university. She quickly became Derek’s confidante and he often turned to her for advice. Her sense of humor was refreshing and time spent with her was never boring.
